RENO HATE WEEK IS HERE

Otto Kitsinger III

It's that time of year, folks. Leaves changing colors, hunting season starting, sweaters and boots coming out of closets, and the Broncos playing one of the only rivals we have left - Nevada. The Wolfpack is coming to town this weekend with their craptastic W/L record, looking to ruin our dreams of a conference championship.

So just to remind everyone what's at stake, let's review the history of this little contest.

The first time the Broncos played Reno was in 1971. BSU won 17-10. The chart below (thanks, Winsipedia!) illustrates the various wins and losses through the years - I'd just like to point out that recently, this thing has been all Boise, but during the Chris Petersen era, Nevada has come much closer. (Nevada, say thank you to the Ostrich...)

See that little gray bar in 2010? That is the reason behind my hate. Reno's stupid short goal posts and disrespectful fans will be in my brain forever. Don't lose that rage, fellow Broncos, because there is no better revenge than cleaning Wolfpack clock over and over, year in and year out, until the end of time (or a Pac 12 invitation takes us away, whichever comes first.)

BW Reno, and Go Broncos!
