Tim DeRuyter gets it. People keep saying that Boise is getting preferential treatment, and that the news deal in unequal in the Broncos' favor. But that just is not the case, and should be the case. Boise has earned it. And now other schools have a chance at earning it as well.
In fact, I think that within the next ten years every conference will have a similar system.
Think about it. Alabama probably thinks that they should get more of the BCS money than the rest of the conference, and they would be right. They earned it. Why should Kensucky and Candybelt get the same as Alabama when they suck? I mean, Kent State got reamed for losing to crappy ass Kensucky. That doesn't much about the Tamecats, does it?
So the other schools feel cheated? Then improve and put a better product on the field. Earn the chance to get "preferential" treatment.
