I was sitting at my son's Optimist football game waiting for it to start. I'm so proud of my boy! A few of us fathers were together talking about Boise State vs. Michigan State before the game started. I'm convinced that morons are incapable of keeping their moronicism a secret for long. Sure enough, one of the fathers starts ripping into Coach Pete. He said, "how can we win a game when we keep sending a 5' nothing, 175 lb running back up the middle. Why do they keep recruiting these tiny backs. It's ridiculous!" Of course, he couldn't stop there. He just kept throwing up out example after example of incorrect decisions by Coach Pete et al.

What happened next was hilarious. Total silence from the fathers and without coordination we all turned our heads and started talking to each other like he hadn't said a word. It was so funny that I couldn't help but laugh. That's when Moronical starts damage control and says, "of course we may find out that Michigan State is better than we thought." No shit Sherlock.

Later it dawned on me that his first instinct was to attack the coaches before giving any credit to the quality of the team we were playing, or the effectiveness of their defense, which is arguably the best in the nation.

I think I'm going to put up a stupid quote of the week here. Maybe Moron-men everywhere will read them and learn to shut up before they spew their ignorance all over everyone around them. Nobody likes cleaning that off their shoes.
