one thing some BSUfans may not be that aware of

Is that Riley Nelson had a serious injury during the BSU game.

Along with the Utah game.

Tons of people noticed it that during the Utah game-he didn't look like his normal self-with pep in his step, more swagger. Body langauge was totally different than normal.

Word is he has fractured vertebrae in his back. He took a big shot during the Weber-st game that knocked him out of the game. Back spasms supposedly(at the time), but it's worse than that.

He was drugged up during the Utah game and BSU game.

He wasn't at full-strength and neither was BYU, obviously. I'm not sure why coaches played him even, but he must've told them he could still do it. Anyway, it was painful to watch. Riley could barely throw the ball 30 yards downfield and could simply barely throw the ball. Couldn't run worth beans and kept on turning it over.

If you look at film from the WSU game, he's a much different and better QB than what you guys saw(when healthy). Not saying he's great, but better-yes.

Wish BYU could've given BSU a better challenge on offense, but coaches didn't react quick enough to Riley's poor play.

I have to think BYU would have had a better shot at beating BSU with James Lark-who can pass the ball well or Taysom Hill playing the whole game. Riley should've been more honest with himself and the coaches and said look-we need to go with someone besides myself to have our best chance at winning under the circumstances.
