As we all know, the Broncos fell only two spots from #24 to #26 after losing a tight game to (currently ranked #10) Michigan State 13-17. Then after a week of not playing the boys in orange and blue did not drop further and remained at #26. So how will the Broncos rise after a cheap win at Miami (OH)? After a ranked BYU, who became ranked after beating FCS Weber State? Forgetting about everyone above us, where do you think Boise State will stand at the end of the season if they run the table? Will they be ranked high enough to get the auto-non-AQ BCS bid?
If by some miracle USF wins the Big East, ranked, will that strengthen Nevada's close loss, just as MSU winning the B1G will help ours? Could Nevada be ranked, even if just barely, at season's end?
BTW the non-AQ rules are: 1) #16 and a conference champion ranked above at least one BCS conference champion?
or
#12 and conference champion, period.
Each week I will update this thread as our ranking rises, and then we can speculate all over again based on where everyone else stands each week.
