I was as disappointed as many BSU fans last night. But I do have to say MIchigan State was a tough team who just happened to be better then us. It happens, it is a rebuilding year for us. But we can still say what our biggest problem of last game was last night. Our offense wasn't on the feild long enough and as our defense did very well, they got tired because they were out there for to long and offense couldn't really make anything. Joe Southwick Struggled and couldn't pass a touch down and he got less then 50%, he went 15 of 31 for 169 yards and an interception. D.J. Harper and other rushers also struggled with 44 rushes and only 33 yards. The offensive line could have cause both problems. But we still fought a great game, coach pete does have a lot to work on with his team but I believe we can pull through. On offense Kirby Moore Did amazing racking up 6 catches for 52 yards, not dropping one catch. Now can we really blame Southwick? We remember this was his first starting game against one of the best (maybe even the best) defense, not easy. He will need to step into that leader ship, he obviously learned a lot form this game and has a lot to work on if he wants to start. One problem on defense was that no one tackled Bell. Their powerful running could have been stopped if the player hit him hard, it just looked like most of them try to nudge him. This running back is powerful; and good, they need to tackle harder. But othe rthen that the defense keep us in the game. Another thing that keep us in was that MSU keep on fouling, fouls that gave us 90 yards. Who fault do you think it is? Joe, D.J., Or offensive Line? Say your opinion in the comments
