So, my crew, motley as we wanna be, is considering hiring out a "Partybus" for 16 hours to drive us from Chicago on the morning of the game to East Lansing (arriving around 2:00pm) and then returning to Chicago after the game in the wee hours (leaving E. Lansing at midnight or 1:00). It has cushy seats and big tv so we can watch old Fiesta Bowls on the way over and the iPhone bootleg video someone hopefully makes of the MSU game on the way home.
It is the "Tailgate Package" and comes with some beer, sodas, stocked bar, 10x10 tent, a grill and some tailgate games. We are 8 deep. The bus holds 18. At 18 people, the trip would be right about $110/person. The plan is to park at Spartan Stadium, experience the local culture, watch BSU trounce MSU, revel for a bit and head back to Chicago after turning over a few cars and burning no fewer than three couches.
"Tell your friends to get with my friends and we can be friends. We could do this every weekend."
