I'm pretty confused by the whole thing. On the one hand, you have teams contracting with the major bowls (acc champ to the orange, pac and big 10 champ to the rose, etc) and yet I have also heard that the teams who play in the major bowl games outside of the 4 team playoff will be selected by the playoff committee. Can someone explain how this is really supposed to work? I'm sure there are still many details that have to be hammered out
