7. Boise State at Michigan State: The giant killer comes calling the Spartans in the season’s first game of the year. It’s an unconventional start to the season, being most teams like starting off with an easier game, but when the Broncos visit, this will feel more like a tough bowl game than a season opener. What makes this contest a bit easier to stomach, though, is Michigan State catches Boise State having to replace plenty of starters. Breaking in new players in a rowdy road environment won’t be easy for the Broncos, no matter how many big wins they’ve scored over BCS opponents recently.
*Not sure how the Broncos fell behind the likes of Northwestern @ Michigan State which came in at #5 but whatever. If this is any indication of how MSU views Boise as an opponent, this could be a good thing for us. Fair warning to you MSU, look past the Broncos at your own peril.

What do you think? Are the Spartans giving enough consideration to their season opener based on Detroit Sports' view of MSU's 2012 schedule?
No way! Watch out next month in East Lansing cause the last thing any Spartan should do is turn his back to an incoming stampede of blue Broncos. (116 votes)
Spot on, Boise( ie BS ) will be fair competition but not much to write home about this year. (11 votes)
Chris Petersen who? Feldman got it right, Sparty has an easy start this year. (8 votes)
The Detroit Sports Site is full of crap and has no bearing on MSU's view of Boise State. (57 votes)
