There comes a time in every evolution of Bronco-dom where a Bronco rises from the pack to show that he is the toughest, strongest, and meanest on the field. This becomes evident shortly into the season as certain Broncos display their ability to put on some huge hits, cause terrific amounts of pain to the opposing squad, and create an overall environment of fear from the enemy.



Certain broncos illicit a terrible, almost carnal feeling in their ability to produce wicked whacks: Korey Hall leveling everybody and their mother at the line of scrimmage, Jeron Johnson helmeting that ISU QB's face into oblivion, The Hout garbling up poor RBs that tried to slip it up the middle, Billy Wynn eating QBs in the backfield... Names like Crawford, 'Swyk, K Wilson, etc. Now that we're in a reloading phase with so many new faces, who will rise up to become one of these legendary beasts? Who will rain terror down on our foes in the form of decapitations and concussions? Who will take up the mantle of Toughest Bronco?
