I'm chalking this up to the fact that everyone is just bored and people are just throwing it out to create drama. Now, apparently, the Pac 12 and the Big Ten feel like the Big 12 and SEC are trying to "railroad through" a 4 team playoff. If "railroad through" means that it was pretty much understood that a 4 team playoff would be the basic format, then I guess they're guilty. I can't wait to see how the presidents muck all this up.
Titus Young turning things around in Detroit (HT: BSUPHAN1)
A couple of weeks ago Young was given a break from the team after an altercation with teammate Louis Delmas. Since his time off, Young has played well and coach Jim Schwartz had great things to say about him. Glad to hear that Titus is recovering from his momentary lapse of judgement.
The offender was Garrett Patton son of tennis coach Greg Patton. There goes that rogue tennis team again. In all seriousness, if his dad is like most of the coaches I've known, he'll come down harder on his own son. Hopefully this is just an isolated incident.
Saturday was our very own tmunson's birthday. Haven't seen him around lately so I hope everything is going alright for him and he had a good birthday.
