There are articles all over the web about the future of the BCS and the various playoff proposals what it all means. The SEC, BIG12 and ND want to take the top four teams although how the top 4 teams are picked is unclear. The BIG10 and PAC12 want the top four conference champs, and of course they are in the top 4 conferences. No one talks about the fans. Who knows or cares what the ACC or the Big East think? It looks like the fix is in.
My thought is that it would be a great idea to get the Presidential Candidates to take a stand on this issue. They both went to Harvard so they should be impartial. I know it would help me decide who to vote for since I don't see that much difference between the two of them other than the obvious one. Why have the BCS decide when we could get a decision from the POTUS on something that might make a real difference in our lives?
The problem is how to get the candidates to take a stand on such a divise issue? Maybe we could occupy Bronco Stadium for one of the home games. Clearly the BCS is part of the 1%. Lots of signs, lots of beer, a catchy chant but I don't care for the weird hand signals. Mabye we could get the BSU president to lead us. I am not sure how ESPN is at covering a political event but I bet it would get some decent ratings.
Should we mobilize?
