Playoff to mean less access for Boise State to top tier bowl games?
That's the point of Dennis Dodd's column. I understand what he's saying and with a 4 team playoff there will only be slots for 4 teams instead of 10 under the current BCS structure. However, even if it's only a 4 team playoff, it is still progress. I don't think anyone would opt for the BCS over a 4 team playoff.

Big East sues TCU for unpaid $5 million
TCU seems to not remember or refuse to remember that they agreed to join the Big East and then renege. Now they don't want to pay their $5 million exit fee. This is such a TCU thing to do.
