Knight Commission wants graduation rates to dictate postseason payouts to schools - NCAA Football - Sporting News

"The proposal was sent to those meeting in Hollywood, Fla., this week, as well as all of the FBS school presidents. Schools in the Knight Commission’s proposal would be grouped into three tiers: graduation rates of 70 percent or above; rates between 60 and 70 percent; and rates below 60 percent. Schools in the first two tiers would split 50 percent of all the revenue, with the other half being distributed evenly among the top tier teams. Tier III teams would get nothing." Interesting idea. So even though Alabama and Arkansas may be among the top football programs in the country, but they would get squat in postseason money. Hmmm....
