Among the interesting moves the Broncos will be making this Spring* according to Statesman savant Chadd Cripe, are practices being moved to mornings (for Spring and throughout the season) and local Bronco LB/RB Dillon Lukehart adding an "/S" next to his name and sliding over to safety for the foreseeable future. This move promises to make the safety race all the more intriguing as Lukehart, another big hitter, will now join Lee Hightower, Eric Agbaroji, Darian Thompson, Jeremy Ioane, Hazen Moss and Taylor Loffler in attempting to lock down one of the two vacant safety spots.
Other tidbits:
Canuck walk-on Rory Connop will head back to the D-line after a stint on the O-line that no one knew about.
Center and sometimes-guard Bronson Durrant has left the team.
Ex-minor league baseball player turned walk-on Hilton Richardson has moved from WR to DB.
Ex-LB and newly-minted defensive coach Andy Avalos and Pete Kwiatkowski will share D-line coaching duties, with Avalos focusing on the ends and Coach K tutoring the tackles.
*Spring Ball starts Monday—ZOMG!
