You all wanted another DT in the 2012 class...you got one. Mountain View DT Austin Brown will join as a preferred walk-on. No complaints here.

Excited to see him join the team.
I am sure that his stregth and speed will increase dramatically in the next year with the Bronco training program.
Also, the highlights of his presence in the backfield were good to see. Hope that is he also talented at stuffing the run.
Watching him he seemed a little slow.
I think the staff will be working on his quickness. You don’t need a DT to be incredibly fast, but they have to have quick movement.

He seemed plenty quick to me for a DT
I reset my expectations of quickness depending on the position. For example…he looked terribly slow returning that kick at the end, but plenty quick wrangling the RBs behind the line of scrimmage.

He's already pretty strong for a high schooler.
With BSU training & equipment (Worlds apart) he just might turn into a monster DT. He obviously feels comfortable playing on the blue. I like the idea of keeping a decent percentage of home boys on the team too. I think its around 20%. The recruiting has definitely reached the “just about right” status in my opinion.
If you ever wanted to see Boise St play...may be a good chance. Love em or Hate em, they are always interesting; and now, no matter where you live, "They're Coming To Your City"
Nice to see another Idaho boy on the team.
Kid looks good. I like.

You can't tell a lot...
from watching the video. All they show is him tackling. You can’t even tell if he’s quick or not. If he got threw the line because of his technique or if it was a missed assignment from the other team. But i’ll tell you this much. He has to earn everything. Which means he will be giving it 110% every time in practice and he is very hungry to show he can make the team. Trust me, this guy is more likely to make a big impact then not.

This guy was pretty solid.
My bro was a senior this year for a local HS team so I saw him play. He looks a little light in the trunk, but he has room to grow so with some good coaching and weight lifting he should get some more size. Hopefully he keeps the tradition going of local boys playing well.
