Every day a proud Bronco... today though, I'm also a proud Aggie
I realize that this has nothing to do with Boise State football, but I have to get on my soapbox and brag here. I am a Boise boy born and raised, but when my girlfriend of four and half years decided two years ago to sign a National Letter of Intent to swim for Texas A&M over the hometown Broncos, I developed a deep hatred for everything maroon and white. Last August, reluctantly, I decided to make the move to College Station, TX to help her achieve her goals. It's been a long 6 months away from Boise. But today, the former Centennial Patriot made history, breaking the NCAA record in the 100yd Breastroke with a time of 57.92, the only NCAA woman to ever break the 58 second mark, and the second fastest time ever posted by an American woman. Today, I, like Kellen, am standing at least 1/4 inch taller in my shoes. Hoping to be back in B-Town sooner rather than later, but until then, I will be repping Boise State hopefully even as far as London this August.
