Some combine records to keep an eye on
The combine kicks off tomorrow so keep your eye on these records to see if anyone can break Rondel Melendez and Chris Johnson's record in the 40 yard dash. My guess: not Kellen Moore.

I know this is a few days old, but Boise State was able to pick up a commitment from Alec Dhaenens out of Fruitland on Friday. He is 6 foot 4 inches and 235 pounds and is slotted to play tight end/H-back for Boise State.

Doug will impress at the combine
Any other year he might even move his stock up to the 1st RB taken. However, I’ve heard that Trent Richardson is just as much of a freak. Also heard that Tyrone Crawford can do 36 reps on the bench with his legs up…so he might near 40 in testing.

Agreed...
I’d love to see one of our boys break that benchpress record… word on the street is that Doug can press a hefty amount, and quite a few reps at 225 as well… but that’s all just hearsay.

scheduling
The only method to improve scheduling is the following. Any nonconference opponent/game will have a minimum home & away series where both games will ocurr in less than 3 years. Any contract not fulfilled nullifies your team from BCS contention for 5 years. If you schedule a 1AA you go play in their stadium to complete the contract.
