That’s the bsu logo from bb’s and my class, the very first one at Boise State University. Does that make me a throwback, or am I too large?

the fact Boise St. has been around long enough to even HAVE a throwback design. Man, all the hate this program and school has received has been from short sighted peons who don’t understand how something is built. They are so very much like Trust Fund Babies…all they know how to do is ridicule, they can’t identify potential or the girders that success is built upon b/c they have never had to do it themselves.

People make fun of this program and the level of academics but discount the ridiculously rapid rate of growth…that’s simply stupid, there is no other word for it. People have made fun of things like The Blue w/o understanding that those are the kind of unique things that become calling cards when greatness is achieved. I mean, who would have ever thought a guy that called himself Snoop Doggy Dog would ever become highly influential in his occupation? Who would ever guess that a boring name like The Beatles or a quirky name like Elvis would become synonymous with the pinnacle of success? It’s not the symbol, it never has been…it’s what it stands for that counts.

Congratulations Old Schoolers, you laid the foundations for something great in your youth and didn’t even know it at the time in all likelihood.

The only thing I would like to see changed on all of our helmets is removing the “schutt” label and replace it with BOISE or BRONCOS.

When I first designed my user image, I had planned to use that horse, since that’s where I got the idea of a horse with the state outline in the first place…but then I didn’t for some reason…why the heck didn’t I? Well, I’m just angry at myself now.

Coming to a beatdown near you…any time, any place, any helmet, same result.

It would make many an old school Boise State fan happy, and provide a link to the past for the new fans and current players.

I really dig it on this helmet. Very cool.
