Mountain West Conference of the USA
Appears what was rumored months ago was true...the MWC and Conference USA will likely dissolve and form a 16-team football conference coming from the Atlantic seaboard to Hawaii.

Temple
With Temple’s new found success I would be shocked if they did not get a Big East invite, finally. Can’t see them giving up and joining Conf USA.
I wouldn't
I’d like to have Temple but the Owls were kicked out of the Big East for lack of attendance years ago and Villanova has actively blocked all of Temple’s attempts as they do not want to share the City of Brotherly Shove with Temple, let alone a conference position that would funnel more revenue to Temple since they have a football program than Villanova as a Basketball only school.

18-24 members? I thought 16 was the limit, at least for football.
The ticker on ESPN earlier today did not list Nevada and Fresno State. Now the article includes them and mentions the possibility of up to eight more. Who the hell could they possibly still invite, realistically?
