Anyone catch the ISU football coach interview yesterday on KTIK?
(I'm linking to it but was unable to find it on the site. Maybe someone will have better luck than I.)
Anyway, I have to say he is one classy, savvy-sounding dude. Listening to him, I kept thinking, "he's the Anti-Akey." That's high praise, coach. Best of luck to you.

Well, kcam, that's about as sure a bet
as predicting that water will flow downhill. ;-)
I hope you’re right. ISU has a legacy of good football (Mike Machurek, Jerry Dunne, anyone?— not to mention a NC). We used to gut-check when we played them every year.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they, too, have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.
Speaking of "gut check"...
If I were a more…er…savvy tech guy, I’d link that video of that ISU QB getting “gut checked” by Jeron Johnson a few years ago at Bronco Stadium.
Also, speaking of ISU players, that coach mentioned that Jared Allen donated $460K to the school to upgrade their workout facilities. Coolness.
Time is the great equalizer.
That savvy sounding dude is my brother in law.
And the photos of him are not mistaken he is a big big man. A good man and he WILL rebuild that program as he did Montana State and Eastern Washington. Coach’s Pete Kwaitowski and Jimmy Lake can attest to that.
Im just glad his sister isn’t built like him. Or his 5 brothers!
Good for you!
I was very impressed with him and not just because he was praising BSU to the stars. A very sharp guy who is in a tough job. I wish him the best of luck.
Time is the great equalizer.
I think BSU is starting to rub off on him.
I always wear a BSU hat or shirt at every family gathering and I think he has finally seen the light.
He had nothing but good to say about Kellen Moore. I was impressed.
That’s why when we were all talking about who we would schedule for the 13th game and someone brought up ISU I was reluctant to say anything. Mike don’t like to schedule losses and beside it is hard to root agianst him.
Allthough
While at Montana State, Mike did beat Colorado at Colorado when Dan Hawkins was there.
But he also lost to Chadron State when Danny Whitehead was there. That one hurt.
