Malcolm Johnson is not enrolled in school. Andy Avalos has been hired as defensive line coach. Josh Borgman, Hazen Moss, and Drew Wright have been given scholarships. KTVB did not hold anything up. Discuss.

I try not to put too much stock into recruiting
but I’m excited this year. It seems like we got some great kids. I can’t wait to see what they can bring to the program. Sucks about Malcolm Johnson but I’m glad to know that our coaching staff won’t put up with off the field shenanigans. SO STOKED for Avalos. Doesn’t get more “blue collar mentality” than him and I know he’ll be awesome. Congrats to Borgman, Moss, and Wright. Their ability/opportunity to earn scholarships is one of the many reasons it’s great to be a Bronco.

It may be dotting i’s and crossing t’s on his academics, or focusing on rehabbing his knee … Either way, he has demonstrated he can bounce back from adversity … If we see him in the fall, fantastic! If not, let’s simply wish the kid well …
