Dashon Hunt, a 4-star DB had narrowed his choices to 3 schools: Oregon State, Nebraska, and Boise State.

Last night, during the Offense-Defense Bowl, he announced his intention of attending Oregon State. Among reasons provided for choosing the Beavers, he listed a strong relationship with coaches, a good feeling about his prospective teammates, a good feel for the community of Corvalis, and a great game-day atmosphere. Those sound like pretty darn good reasons to me. It's critical a young man get along well with his coaches and teammates and enjoy the community he live in. If an athlete is happy, he will excel in football and in life.
