Not independence but they are trying to retain their own rights to their home games and seeing which conference will allow it. My guess is that the odds are better with the BE since the MWC's partner CBS Sports wouldn't care much for that proposition. Boise has all sorts of fun stuff going on with this realignment. Should be interesting to see how this all pans out and which conference decides to blink first.
