I remember a while back the Big East said that they had no intentions of changing its name because the name "Big East" was too well known and had a brand awarnenss to it. Well, now that most of the origional schools are gone, including the basketball only Catholic schools, it seems to me that the Big East is no longer the brand that it was. It should be changed to reflect the national presence. What do you think? This a thread to discuss all Big East name change topics.
