The Wisconsin Badgers are looking for a new coach and are not in a rush to hire until after the bowl games.
The seven Catholic Big East basketball schools have meet in New York and have agreed to make a decision on dissolving the conference by June 30, 2013. One day before Boise State is set to join.
The primary reasons Boise State decided to go to the Big East was increased expose and revenue. That fit Coach Pete's goals of growing and moving forward by providing the revenue and exposure under the new media contract.
We know the Mountain West cannot provide either and would be the only landing spot available to the Broncos following the 2013. The current Big East media rights run through 2013 and Boise would still receive their share as would the basketball schools. So I don't believe the vote to dissolve would take effect until after the 2013 season. Too much money left on the table for all involved to do it sooner.
So what happens with Coach Pete and the Broncos?
