Big East now free to talk with all TV networks

The exclusive negotiating window with ESPN was extended due to hurricane Sandy, but now it has officially expired and predictably no agreement has been reached. Boise State president Bob Kustra is quoted as predicting that the final deal will include other media companies besides ESPN. Hopefully we'll have an answer soon as to where Boise State will be playing next year so we can all adjust our cable plans accordingly.

Doug Martin still not fond of the nickname Muscle Hamster

Yesterday Martin was a guest on NFL AM and talked about the origin of the name and how he's not fond of it. We've known this awhile, but I just feel like it's going to stick now. Boise State fires women's soccer coach

AD Mark Coyle has made his first fire by not renewing the contract of women's soccer coach Steve Lucas. This will also be Coyle's first hire.
