I am thoroughly confused. I just read an article on cbssports.com about possible Sun Belt expansion candidates (yes, I'm really bored at work), and at the end of the article the author says something that is screwing with my mind: "Conference USA currently pays out $2 million-$3 million to members in TV revenue per year. Sun Belt's per-team number is approximately $1 million." If these numbers are accurate, and the number reported by the Idaho Statesman a few days ago is accurate ($800,000 per Mountain West team), then why are we even having a conversation about possibly staying in the MWC? According to these numbers, BSU would be $200,000 richer playing in the Sun Belt. Am I missing something?
