Saturday was the fifth straight game that Boise State has shut out its opponent in the first half and the only points allowed was a fumble recovery. Even with Demarcus Lawrence out on Saturday for a violation of team rules, the defense was still able to sack UNLV's Nick Sherry twice and keep him under pressure.
They weren't able to crack the top 20 as we'd hoped, but they at least moved up a spot. Michigan, however, popped into the top 25 at no. 22 right behind Boise State and Wisconsin is in at no. 25. The Big Ten won't go down easy.
This broke yesterday. It's a bit of a head-scratcher as to the timing. I'm curious who is going to be better for Idaho than Akey at this point. At least Akey had a little bit of charisma for the program. Curious to see what their next step is going to be.
