Bryan Fischer takes a look at Boise State recruiting after move to the Big East
He says stuff that we already know about how Boise State recruits nationally so location isn't as much of an issue (although I think that Idaho has more football talent than others think). But he also made one interesting point that I haven't considered. Recruits these days have a good 6 years of Boise State success in their memories and probably watched the BCS wins growing up. Combined with the uniforms and Boise State is making an impact on the recruiting trail.
OBNUG BlogPoll ballot raises some eyebrows again
Kevan's wacky methodology for picking the BlogPoll ballot has again thrown the BlogPoll into disarray (well maybe just skewing some of their ways to look at it. Many pioneers were not understood in their day however. I'm sure that's the case here.
Boise State lands Bakersfield JUCO CB Mercy Maston
Daron Mackey and Tyrone Crawford both came from Bakersfield before and Bakersfield coach Jeff Chudy places Maston up there with those two and thinks he'll be a great fit for the Broncos. Check out Maston's footwork here.
Idaho State coach Mike Kramer in hot water after pushing player
ESPN's Outside the Lines posted video last night showing what appears to be Mike Kramer running up to wide receiver Derek Graves during practice and pushing him to the ground. The push doesn't appear to be that violent on Graves but you can feel the anger in Mike Kramer as he runs up, even from the aerial shot. There definitely is no excuse for a coach to treat a player like that.
