Sat in the student section for the Fresno game and while it was a great time overall, I have to gripe about some of the things I was hearing from fans.....

"Southwick sucks, put in Patti!"

"Harper sucks, put in Ajayi!"

"Fire Prince!"

"Coach Pete is starting to suck!"

On top of that, one guy in particular would basically cheer when Southwick threw an incomplete pass because it "proved him right" and when Joe threw a good pass or TD, he would sarcastically say "Oh my God, he actually threw a complete pass!" I finally got him to shut up when he was complaining about DJ and I was talking him up. Right afterward, DJ had that huge drive with two big runs and a touchdown.

I'm just getting so tired of these people stinking up the place with their negativity and their extremely lofty expectations. It seems they want to throw the baby out with the bathwater because Joe isn't Kellen and Prince isn't Pease or Harsin.

We are going to have an amazing team next year and the years to come. Heck, if we sneak into a BCS game this year, we might actually be able to compete with a great team.

Can we give this young team some freaking time to grow before we start rolling heads!?!?
