PrintBoise State gets commitment from kicker/punter Sean Wale
He was supposed to be recruited as a punter but said that Coach Petersen and Jeff Choate, who visited him yesterday, told him that they wanted him to compete for the kicking job. The more the merrier I say! In this article from September, Wale says it's his dream to kick a winning field goal. The chances of that happening at Boise State are high, my friend. Kustra wanted Petersen raise now for recruiting purposes
Kustra had let the state board know that he wanted recruits' families to know that Coach Pete has the full support of the university when he's meeting with them. Recruiting opened back up yesterday. The raise makes him the highest paid coach of a public university outside the AQ conferences and the 3rd highest paid coach in the Big East.
Nate Potter has received an invite to the combine
He joins Kellen Moore and George Iloka as confirmed invitees. Still waiting on Doug Martin, Billy Winn, Shea McClellin, Chase Baker, Tyrone Crawford and Kyle Efaw, guys.
Caesar Palace has Boise State at 50-1 to win national championship next year
Number 1 is LSU at 3.5 to 1 followed by Alabama and USC at 6 to 1. TCU with their jump to the Big 12 is listed at 40 to 1 just ahead of Boise State.
West Virginia steamrolls Clemson in Orange Bowl
The Mountaineers hung 70 on Clemson in a meaningless game. Both teams will walk away with the same amount of money and I really doubt that the perception of the Big East or ACC has changed much after the game. Yay BCS!

I like the calender because I am living in Rock Springs, WY right now. However, I am working on finding a job in engineering/environmental around Boise because it would be a great move for my little family.
I am so glad we got a new kicker...
Hopefully he can fill in that Brotzman role as both placekicker and punter. As for Coach Pete, I am glad he got that raise. Considering he is the highest paid non-AQ coach, and the third highest paid coach in the Big East, a BCS conference were they supposedly have the big bucks, and also factoring in the cost of living in Boise, compared to other places, there is becoming less and less of a reason for him to leave for another school.
I am the BSU Guru. I know everything and anything about BSU, just ask me. Although I may need a minute…and an internet connection.

until you adopted the game plan of “hey defense, hurry up and get off the field so our offense can get back on” the Bronco’s had the biggest beatdown score of the bowl season – 32 point spread. The “Too Orange” bowl was a 37 point spread. At least ASU had a defense of sorts.
Kicker highlights?
Isn’t that one of those oxy things? :P
Of course after the last two years, Bronco Nation is ready for some oohs and aahs over kicking highlights.
