we on the swim team got so sick and tired of the football team giving us grief about our easy sport that we invited them for a workout in the pool and they us in the stadium. The upshot was 2 of us were invited to play on the football team after running up and down the stadium, sprints, pushing stuff around, etc. They however, never bothered us again, after we had to haul one kid out of the pool. Last contest was a boxing match where our toughest guy won only because after 5 rounds the football player couldn’t raise his arms anymore. Our guy didn’t look very good, but he was still standing, sort of.

Its totally great that BSU players will do anything for a great cause, and it runs up and down the team. Its also neat as it gives some backup players a chance to take a leadership role as captains of a softball team, etc. Come on out to this year’s softball game at Memorial Stadium and watch players Trevor Harmon pound slow picth softball pitches off the centerfield fence. After is autograph session with at least 40 players. Its a great time.

That somersault cannonball face plant had to hurt.
