Daryn Colledge Donates
The former O lineman makes a $150,000 donation to AthDept for upgrades to the weight room and equipment. This guy has a lot of respect for Boise State.

Way to go, Daryn & Megan!
Boise State once reached out to a kid in Alaska to come play college football and one day that man reached out a hand to Boise State to donate some of his very hard earned money. Awesome story.
I hope to see more of this.
I had heard from media people that Bleymaier wasn’t exactly the best person to get money from alums who are, ahem, rich.
So hopefully Coyel (sp?) will be able to get more donations like this coming in.
My QB has an AWARD named after him. How about yours?!

Heard the same...
Hope this alum philanthropy thing takes off. Great job, Daryn.

110% program and the Colledge's
Coyle’s creation of the 110% program at Kentucky generated 400K in one year for Athletic Dept, mostly in smaller amounts by inclusivity. I’d say Daryn and Megan gave ours a pretty good jump start.
Daryn Colledge is a hero – to the hundreds of kids he teaches at football camp each year to the thousands of Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Soldiers in the Middle East and Med he touched, to the teammates whom he motivated in starting 52 straight games at BSU.
And now this most generous gift. Wow.
Now this is a Gentleman & Lady
to whom I am going to send a thank you note. I don’t care how much money someone makes, when they choose to donate to their school, that is just awesome. To make the effort, to make the selection…they easily could have blown BSU off and bought a couple of cars. Many do. But instead, they are thinking about the kids who will be using the BSU facilities in the future. That is generous. I am now an Arizona Cardinal fan. :)

Well said.
Even if you have a lot of dough, $150k isn’t chump change.

considering he didn't know where his next job was 6 months ago
with the Packers not re-signing him (idiots) and then the lockout, it was a bit uncertain for a lot of these guys last summer. Now he gets to play on the field where he and that great team made history at the Fiesta Bowl. Generous with his money, his time and his spirit (and pain, if you play defense).
He didn't play in the Fiesta Bowl...
He had left the year before.
I am glad the Packers didn’t win it all. Especially the way they didn’t. That line suffered tremendously. Yea, there were a lot of dropped balls. But there were also some inaccurate passes from Rogers cause he wasn’t comfortable when stepping into the throws. Colledge is a big reason I didn’t want the Pack to go back to the Super Bowl. Him and Hall were the reason I was happy they won.

Agree 100%.

I beg to differ...
True Bronco fans know the difference between subjective and objective pronouns.
