Tough call...
Seeing as how I grew up half an hour from Crete-Monee, getting this guy in a matchup against Notre Dame is going to be difficult at best. Crete is south of Chicago by about 30 miles, and only about ten miles or so from the Illinois-Indiana border. Notre Dame is two hours drive from him, and they have – even two decades past their glory years – enormous influence and pull in the Chicago area.
However, it says a lot, I think, that Boise State is still in this fight for a recruit literally in Notre Dame’s back yard. I know from speaking to coaches and athletes in the Midwest that Brian Kelly’s style both in practice and during games gives significant pause to all but those from the most devout Catholic families.
Take the offer for Boise State, man!
Thanks to Ohio State's president, I will never root for a Big Ten football program again (except in extenuating circumstances that aid my primary rooting interest).

hey
BSU beat out ND for Ioane, so that should mean something.
My QB has an AWARD named after him. How about yours?!

True...however...
Ioane is from Hawaii, if I remember correctly. Comparing the recruiting is like apples and oranges. Two players from regions that have almost nothing in common with the other region.

From what I read he has an OV at BSU 1/27, and Neb 2/3.
Have faith, he’ll be mesmerized by the blue.
If you ever wanted to see Boise St play...may be a good chance. Love em or Hate em, they are always interesting; and now, no matter where you live, "They're Coming To Your City"
Some comments;
Standifer (not sure if the staff will really pursue or not) – One foot down.
(reply)
[Darby – think he ends up at FSU. Was afraid of him playing in the UA game without ND players there – good thing is he’ll be around 3 of them right before NSD at an all star game. He would be huge to pull back to ND.]
Standifer (not sure if the staff will really pursue or not) – agree with you Jim, not sure how much interest there is – may depend on if Wright or Darby are back in.
[Wright – our best chance though he still has other visits to take – won’t really know until he finishes those (including the Cal visit – who isn’t going there?)]
Sure seems like Anthony is their 3rd pick, or last choice, at best. If he visits, I’m sure he’ll won’t get that feeling here. Besides, isn’t that the kind of players we usually do so good with? IMHO
That last supporting comment also raises a question, how did Cal get some many 4 & 5 stars to OV? I searched a lot of 4 & 5 uncommitted players and didn’t see BSU on any of their list, but I did see a lot of teams that have inferior football programs….?
