Jeron Johnson made the Seahawks team!
Wanted to let everyone know the good news.. They Legree (2011 5th round) and Pinkard who they were high on. I am excited that he is on the Seahawks squad. He played great this pre-season! I was sure they were going to keep him.. he played most of the last pre-season game and had a key tackle for a loss and a 3rd down tackle short of the first down in that last pre-season game.
Austin Pettis also survived the cuts and is still on the Rams team.. just imagine.. Jeron could be laying Austin out!!

More good and notso good news
Korey Hall and Daryn College are good, as is Brandyn Thompson with the Redskins. Derek Shouman got cut by the Skins :( and ditto Ian Johnson from the Lions. Ryan Winterswyke was cut by the Falcons but received an “injury settlement” – saw him at the GA game. Gerald Alexander was cut last week but Nanee is still with Carolina.
Are you sure that was Swyk?
I thought it was Jared Zabransky…
"Everyone counted us out. I don't know why they keep doing that." -- Kyle Wilson
"It takes no talent to give great effort." | "We’re not going to play to the outside noise." -- Chris Petersen
"[Kellen] Moore is a walking Staples® button." -- Ivan Maisel
"I’ve never seen a better prepared team than the Boise State Broncos and it was a privilege to watch them play." -- Lou Holtz
I saw him on during the Geogia game too
…when the announcer went on for a solid minute talking about Jared Zabransky and all his accolades while keeping the camera on Swyk, with ‘Jared Zabransky’ at the bottom of the screen. Silly ESPN…know your national champs. Recognize!
man.
i was so pissed they put that zabransky graphic on him.
BUT WAIT. The detailed benefits are not just your average dollars-under-the-table, or some lameass "we let some players sleep at an apartment on the floor with a coach's help" allegations. No, you get the hell out of here, Boise.

Also,
Equal parts bummed and excited for the Johnsons. Being a die-hard Lions fan, I was really pulling for Ian…plus he has such an awesome last name ;)
Anyone
Know the details on the Winterswyk situation? What’s the “injury settlement” thing all about? I didn’t know he was hurt, didn’t mention anything about it in any of the pregame stuff, and he looked fine in their last game too. And Ian Johnson, he had a lot of solid playing time in preseason, usually the number 2 or 3 rusher on the team. I am excited for the other guys who made their respective teams though.

Out 6 weeks.
I assume he’ll be a free agent after that.

Darn
That’s too bad, I’m a huge Falcons fan and I was excited to see him play this year.
