I was bored and in a writing mood and so I came up with a couple of commercials to promote Boise State football. They're purely for fun unless of course we have some filmmakers in OBNUG (hint hint, nudge nudge)

Here's the first one...

BOISE STATE – FEAR THE BLUE

EXT. – BRONCO STADIUM – AERIAL SHOT – DAY

The camera suddenly takes a nose dive and we go along with it into freefall. Closer, closer, heading straight for the blue turf until we’re feet away.

EXT. – BRONCO STADIUM – WIDE SHOT - BLEACHER VIEW – DAY

A duck decoy falls from the sky, crashes onto the blue and smashes into pieces.

A man is sitting in the empty stadium looking out onto the field, stares at the plastic carnage as he reminisces in his mind…

MONTAGE – BOISE STATE VS. OREGON, 2009

                                    END MONTAGE

A duck quacks and another decoy smashes into the blue turf and explodes. Then a turkey gobbles and a turkey decoy crashes down, followed by a toy bulldog. Then a wagon with OU painted on the side smashes into pieces.

Soon, the mascot of every team Boise has beaten over the last decade, as many times as they’ve beaten them, comes crashing down onto the turf like a Biblical hailstorm. A montage of highlights from Boise State’s key victories plays in between scenes of the raining mascots.

Finally, it stops. Then one more comes crashing down. It’s a stuffed wolf puppy that mysteriously explodes on impact as everything else did.

The man stares in amazement.
