Titus Young Talks Boise State
Here is a video of Titus Young in the Detroit Locker Room mentioning Boise State! This season he has done pretty well! Will he be the most successful Bronco who is in the NFL now? Maybe Austin Pettis will come around. Let me know what you guys think.
Also, I like the idea of afternoon games. Hawaii last year on the Blue was great. Thought the atmosphere was where it needed to be. Go Broncos!

always a pleasure to listen to titus
the way he handles interviews is amazing. he’s one of a very short list of nfl players who answers questions without repeating the litany of stale cliches you normally hear repeated ad nauseum. you know, you’ve all heard it before. something like…“i may not be the sharpest marble in the drawer, but a tiger doesn’t change his spots. it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to know it’s time to wake up and smell the roses before we’re a dollar late and a day short.”

Props to my man Speedy!
Titus is starting well this year and will only get better as he gets more comfortable in games and as Matthew gets more comfortable throwing to him. The future is bright for him.

The cockiest humble guy ever
I read one of Titus’ Detroit teammates describe him as the cockiest humble guy he’d ever met. He said, “He does not talk like that, but you can tell by his swagger and style of play out on the field that he has a lot of confidence.” I love that, that’s the Bronco way. You don’t have to tell everyone how good you are, just go out and show them on the field.

I love that
Our guys that go pro don’t get a complex and still give shoutouts to Boise and their former teammates. How many other major cities with big football schools have their athletes return multiple times a year to help out with local causes, sign autographs, chat with fans, etc… after they’ve gone on to the next level? I know a lot of the guys on the team and consider them friends, and when I was discussing this with someone at work a couple years ago (tech support over the phone), the Ohio State fan asked me how I got to become friends with some of the BSU players. Apparently in Columbus, the college players believe they’re celebrity status and for them to associate with the middle class common folk is unheard of. Made me smile, gotta love Boise.

Well said
Gotta feeling a lot has to do with Chris Petersen’s “whole man” approach to developing his players and the blue collar work ethic and teamwork they developed at BSU. Titus was a project for Coach Pete, and it worked beyond expectations. Dang but Titus just looks happy to be alive and a Lion.
I will root for Alabama or Ohio State when they play the Chinese...maybe.
Everything I have read out of Detriot
has been positive. His teammates absolutely love him! Nate Burelson said Titus is his little brother and that nobody on the team will let him fail….what a good fit for Young!
The Bulldogs had no answers, so they called timeout. And at that moment, every single person in the stadium knew that Georgia was in over its head. It was instant singularity of Boise State's greatness.

Some quotes:
"I expect for him to be similar to DeSean Jackson," Burleson said. "He is fast, he is thin, he is light, he is not afraid to wear Titus Young Lions Jersey, go up and make that big play with his hands, as you saw."
“There’s a reason we drafted him so high and had such high expectations,” HC Jim Schwartz said. “He’s going to make a lot of plays in this offense.”
On his relationship with Stafford:
“It’s amazing,” Young said. "We actually talk to each other on a day-to-day basis. We actually have a cool friendship. We actually ask each other, ’How’s your day going?’ It’s stuff besides football now. I can definitely say our friendship is growing slowly but surely.
“Before it was like, ‘Hey kid, what’s up? Do you job.’ That’s it,” Young continued. “Now we crack jokes and stuff like that.”
Stafford, with a smile on his face, denies Young’s assessment.
“I’ve always said hi to him,” Stafford said. “He’s just lying to you guys.”
“I told (Young) that butt-whipping I put on you benefited,” Delmas (Detriot DB)said. “But you know he is a dog. He is a very hard worker. He is going to be very good some day.”
“Titus is a diamond in the rough who is rough around the edges,” receivers coach Shawn Jefferson said
“I leaned in after he made that catch and I said, ‘That was the catch of the game,’ in my eyes,” Burleson said. “It really opened up the door. We were on our way to making it a convincing game. But that play right there, digging us out of that third-down hole, was huge.”
“All week we kind of saw how their safeties played on the backside and we just took a shot,” Young said. “Matt threw it in there. I knew he was going to throw it to me the whole time and I know he doesn’t trust me that much yet so I had to make a play. I just happened to make that play.”
“When that happens,( doubling Megatron) your other guys have to make plays, and Titus did that today,” Schwartz said. “Third-down-and-long and (he makes) a huge, huge play going over the middle and out-jumping a defender. That was a big-time play.”
“It’s a great feeling to be part of a successful win,” Young said. “I know I have a long ways to go. I’m going to keep at it. Tomorrow I’m going to look at the film and see how I did. I feel like there are a lot of things I could have did better.”
“He’s truly the definition of a little brother,” Burleson said. “He’s a handful, but we love him, and we’re not going to let him fly away from underneath our wings. It’s good to get him going though. As you can see when he’s out there, he has the biggest smile on his face, and all he wants to do is make a play; It’s all he talks about all game long. It’s good to see him out there making a play because he’s going to help us this season.”
I LOVE ME SOME TITUS YOUNG!!

Didn't Tim Brown say
that Titus is the best receiver he’s ever seen coming out of college? I heard it somewhere but haven’t seen any proof. Speaks volumes coming from a hall of famer if true.

Posts about Titus are my favorite
My grandfather was a Packers fan, my father is a Vikings fan, I am a Lions fan, and there is no way in hell I am raising a Bears fan.
Oh, and I hate the Philadelphia Eagles (but like the Phillies)
