After reading the article by the Statesman about Coach Pete thinking now is the time to add more seats (along with all of bronco nation) I started wondering what need to make this happen or at least jump start construction. I'm not completely sure if there is a time table of sorts for construction or a set design for the stadium but I feel like there are too many what ifs or possibilities and not actual planning. Since we need money and a lot of it I thought what if the players currently in the nfl got together and decided to make a donation as a group. My thinking is that with Chris Carr, Daryn Colledge, Ryan Clady, Quintin Mikell, Legedu Naanee, Austin Pettis, Orlando Scandrick, Kyle Wilson and Titus Young all doing well in the nfl and hopefully can afford to make a sizable donation. So if as a group they could give a million or more I think that would be enough to get things rolling from the fundraising side of things. I know there are others in the NFL but they probably aren’t in a position to be writing checks. I doubt Scandrick will contribute since apparently he hates BSU but I figure people like Winn, Potter and the others from the new draft class can make up for it. I also believe BSU is selling the name of the stadium? So maybe that will be something they’re interested in.
