I'll start this off by apologizing for both the length of time it took to get these out as well as the length of time for the videos themselves.
The former was the result of exceptionally long rendering times, re-edits, and upload times (24 hrs for Youtube to upload, sheesh!) while the latter was by design admittedly.
The good news is that I have found a quality resolution I can live with (720) and a codec that drastically reduces both rendering and upload times (down to 2 hr Youtube upload, yay me!).
As to the length, well, all I can say is that I make my videos w/ an eye to the future and the what-if's. For example; what if we play for the NCG this year? What if we get a BCS bowl against a tough Alabama, LSU, or Oklahoma team (who are all perceived to be terrific teams this year by the majority of both voters and fans)?
I want my videos to provide more than just highlights for any would-be viewers and especially the fans. I want them to document HOW the games were won, WHAT this program is from a character standpoint, and WHO these players are to the greatest extent possible while remaining within the boundaries of reason.
With highlights alone, we miss so much of the context that frames the reality of what transpired. I'd like to provide some narrative in order to flesh out the story a little more. As a big believer that CFB teams should be evaluated on HOW they win or lose as opposed to simply scores and stats, I hope to provide a little more of that context than your average fanmade video.
With that; here is your Part I of Boise State's first win ever against an SEC team; may it be the first in a long line of firsts this season.
