I wanted to combine the old with the new, so I combined the old BSU logo with a variation of the current one. There’s a football and (kinda) a basketball, and the lines under the horse’s chin represent the 50 yard line, where the most amazing play in college football happened. The tribal motif represents the savagery of our wrestling team, and the vacated space is for the women’s tennis team.

wow! symbolism at its finest. and the vacated space underscores the beauty of the entire piece.
but I do feel sorry for the women’t tennis team, however, because I’m sure they work hard at their sport, too, and were unwitting bystanders to the crime.
