Kellen Moore 2011: A Season to Remember?
Kellen Moore Highlights 2010 (via tpg85404)
Kellen Moore is coming off of one of the best seasons a college football quarterback can have (statistically). With Austin Pettis and Titus Young gone, the wide receiving corps needs some underclassmen to step up BIG. Kellen won't have a problem finding targets, but dependable WRs are a must for the Bronco's success. Doug Martin, D.J. Harper, and Jay Ajayi should all shine and will help free up the passing game (playaction) and vice-versa. The biggest question I have is: who will make the most impact in the Bronco's passing attack? Geraldo Boldewijn and Tyler Shoemaker have shown the most promise. However, there needs to be more depth at the position to ensure another BCS run.

6'4 with speed baby...
Kellen Moore has a great touch on his throws, which i think is very over rated. Would i be surprised if some other receiver had a bigger impact? No. But the way Geraldo is built and combined that with Moores accuracy, equals to moore(hehe) places to fit the ball.
This reminds me of RD's SR year
He lost the top three WRs, and then Gilligan broke records the year after.
I think we will see a more balanced passing attack. Different personnel combos, attack the defense and Kellen will hit the open guy. I also wonder if we will see more no-Huddle with Kellen adjusting to what the defense presents.
No-huddle, please!
It would be an unfair competitive advantage to have Kellen run a bunch of no-huddle during the game because he is after all another Bronco coach. Our Georgia visitors have been talking about how massive and powerful their D-line is. How would they hold up to a no-huddle offense where they couldn’t substitute in fresh bodies? I hope we see it in the first game.

Dang you mobile version!
TIGHT ends.. When we don’t have an obvious one and two, the tight ends get a lot of looks. Kind of like the tcu dance team..

Very excited for this program.
Someone asked at work today if I felt they should retire Kellen Moore’s jersey after the season.
I said absolutely. There have been a long line of coaching staffs and players that have positioned Boise St. but Chris Petersen and Kellen Moore have, at the very least, put some serious cracks into that glass ceiling.
As a starting idea, I happen to like FSU’s approach on this. In order for a Seminole to qualify for having his jersey number retired he must have either won a Heisman Trophy or been named an All-American twice. If the criteria is met and the jersey is retired they take the door of his locker, place his Jersey, helmet, and cleats (w/ signatures I believe) from his final game in them, and seal that locker with a plane of glass and a decorative nameplate. The locker remains in this state forever so future players can see it.
We don’t have to copy that of course but it’s a nice place to start imo.
