Fans have long complained that the little guys get zapped while the big boys get away with murder. Is that changing?
Now that the NCAA has denied the USC appeal and NCAA president Mark Emmert said his organization is going to work harder to show that it handles all enforcement cases consistently, I think it does not bode well for NCAA review of BSU violations.
Albeit the BSU violations are minor compared to Ohio State's, the issue is institutional control. They are going to drop the hammer big-time on Ohio State and it will be hard to be lenient on BSU. That is my fear. I hope I am wrong!
