Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Not that I've ever heard of Scott Starr prior to this announcement, but apparently he was "one of the top linebackers on the West Coast" and he had an offer from Boise State. Who are we to stand in the way of a players dream of going to a troubled program that is being so heavily sanctioned they can't even hand out enough scholarships to recruit a full class. On that point, see last sentence about 5 of 9 players are members of ESPNU 150 Watch List. How are they still possibly recruiting at that level? Sounds like a need for another investigation.
