Next seasons news regarding Boise State football has been very gloomy for me once I realized 1) I will not be able to afford my season ticket package and 2) Dish Network will no way in hell form an agreement with the Mtn Network.

This had lead me to the idea of forming the student organization OBNUG: ISU (Idaho State University) where we can assemble on Saturday's (oh, and a Friday, too) to watch the game on a big screen on the Pocatello and/or Idaho Falls ISU campus'.  We'd be able to have Pot Luck and perhaps have the gameday threads going on the bigscreen as well.

I originally wanted a simple OBNUG: East Idaho, but when I found out that you get free rooms if you're a student organization.  I can still go that way, but it'd mean that we'd have a high rental fee which would mean "club" dues.

So, I need to know if anyone in interested in this that lives in Eastern Idaho.  Please comment below. Let me know what you're willing to provide if you are interested (food, money, freebies).  Also let me know if you are an ISU student, and if you are, if you have other people not on OBNUG that would be interested.  I can only start a student organization if I have 12 people (8 for IF campus) that are full-time students.

Last, but probably the most important, I need someone with DirecTV or CableOne with access to Vs, CBS Sports, and the Mtn. with a SlingBox that would be willing to stream to ISU facilites.  Preferably this would be someone with a high upload connection to prevent lagging on the other end.  There is a possibility that the person providing the game can be compensated.

So, let's see if this thing has enough to take off.  If it doesn't and someone lives in Pocasmello with access to those channels, will you be my friend?
