Some months back I suggested that Kellen Moore could slide right into a coaching position, if he chose. Now I'm starting to see some remarks agreeing with that........hmmm. I still think he'll get drafted and see considerable playing time in the NFL, if he's interested in going that route. Trouble is, I see him being a lot like coach Pete. He plays football because he likes it and his decisions won't be based upon making the 'big bucks' or the glory. This kind of genuine character is a rarity in the world and I sure admire it. However, being a life long
niners Niners fan, I sure would like to see him go there for awhile and get their passing game straightened out. He won't be a number one pick (no slam Alex!), but he could sure solve some problems there. Oh yeah, wasn't that a long pass to Titus in the Nevada game? Weren't no dribble I can tell ya.
Talk about mixed feelings. Looking forward to going through each tough game with the excitement of watching BSU play, but hoping bad things don't happen. We're so accustomed to getting ahead and staying there, the thought of a close game causes some serious anxiety. Hope they get started syncing up on offense and slamming them on defense. How many days now? Gettin' footballitus really bad. Besides that, I'm surrounded by Ute fans. Oh yeah, BYU down here too, but they kinda don't count. Don't tell anybody, but my friend has season tickets to Utah. Went once last year against Pitt. Whew! Got that off my chest; feel better now.
