This is my comparison of the Big East vs. MWC. Let us just assume that tings change with the BCS. If the BCS stays then AQ conferences stay as well, and the Big East will not loss AQ status due to the inclusion of all the teams involved. But let's say things do change and AQ status vanishes, the BCS vanishes, etc. I believe that even sans the BCS and AQ status the Big East is better for Boise in the long term.

- Greater SOS

- Better bowl games

** If a playoff is instituted then lower seedings play higher seedings in the first rounds, while middle seedings play other middle seedings. If we were to be in the MWC and win our conference we would most likely get a lower seeding due our SOS, and then we'd probably have to play our first playoff game against an LSU or Alabama. I, for don't look forward to that. The Big East, because of its higher SOS, would probably give us a higher, more middle seeding. Or even a top ranked seeding, in which we'd be knocking off the MWC and WAC champs in the first round. I like this much better.
