2012 looms and The Rapture is nigh. Again. So, in the spirit of the New Year (and already being bored with the offseason), I'd like the OBNUG faithful to offer up 3 bold predictions for the OFFSEASON of 2012.
Keep them concise. For everyone's sake. This will be like an amazing time capsule we can revisit in the not-so-distant future and remark about how silly / scary accurate we were. "Amazing" may be a stretch, but it will be a virtual time-capsule nonetheless. One we can bury beneath the mountains of BD Bronco fanposts OBNUG will host in the coming months... just kidding BD, I really don't care how much you post. I actually found the public cry for "help" amusing. That said, you were approaching Stephen King levels of production. I digress.
Perhaps we can provide a prize for the most accurate predictions. I think I could find one more "Teach Me How To Dougie" shirt somewhere. Sadly, I don't see how that could jeopardize his eligibility anymore. /sniffle
Move over Nostradamus, here we go...
Pourfavor believes (knows?):
1. Pat Hill will end up on Boise State's staff
2. Southern Miss game will be replaced by a game against Texas (either in Jerry Jones' house or Austin)
3. Chip Kelly goes to the NFL and Pete cements (or something more permanent) his commitment to BSU by turning down the Oregon job...thereby ruling out every other college coaching position in the country.
3a. Sugar Bowl game is so bad they ask for a Mulligan and rename Boise State's opener next year the "The Sugar Bowl That Should Have Been"
