The recruit roundup kinda got away from me at the end there with teams bowing out and state playoffs being held at different times in different states, but as of last night Boise State has at least 3 state champions among their 2012 recruits.

CB Donte Deayon and his Summit squad defeated Heritage 24-17 for their first CIF Championship. Deayon had 69 yards rushing and a huge kickoff return that shifted momentum to the Skyhawks when the game got tight.

TE Armand Nance and his Dekaney squad defeated Steele 34-14 for the state title last night and after the game, their coach was run down by a self-aware golf cart.

LB Andrew Pint helped lead his Valor Christian team to an undefeated season and title game stomping of Pine Creek, 66-10.
