It's hard to stop a train

During the lull before the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, I thought you might like to see some photographs of a special model train painted in Bronco livery by a member of my model railroading club, the Rocky Mountain Hi-Railers (we're based in Boise). The photos of this Bronco train (an Alco PA locomotive and passenger cars) were taken at the National Train Show in Sacramento last July, when we represented Idaho. The train garnered interest from many of the 20,000 attendees from all over the nation, who have definitely heard about Boise State. The scale is "S" (1/64), and the name of our 550 square-foot portable layout is Lookout Junction. (P.S. Shameless plug -- we're always looking for new members to share the fun!)

You can see the Bronco train at the right in this photo of our fiddle yard (below).
